Terms of Use for UConn Health Center Library Electronic Resources

Every user of the UConn Health Center Library is required to agree to certain terms of use regarding access to electronic resources. Users may search, view and browse these resources, and in accordance with the fair use provisions of U.S. Copyright Law, users may print or download excerpts of reasonable quantity for educational and scholarly purposes. Systematic and excessive downloading violates the libraries' license terms with electronic resource providers and is therefore prohibited.

Users are prohibited from exploiting library resources for commercial use. Users who are authorized to access electronic resources from remote locations are required to protect access codes. Distribution, posting to public websites or sharing of access codes with unauthorized users is a violation of license terms and will result in the termination of remote access privileges.
