Services for Other Libraries, Businesses and Unaffiliated Health Professionals
The University of Connecticut Health Center Library provides book, audiovisual and journal article lending
services to other libraries, businesses and unaffiliated health professionals. All other individuals
should contact their public or institutional library.
The Health Center Library is open to the public. All books, journals,audiovisuals and
databases are available for use on the premises.
CHARGES: Please contact the Interlibrary Loan Department for current
lending charges. Basic charges range from $11-$18 per article,depending on affiliation
and delivery method..
PAYMENT: Pre-payment from other libraries or businesses is appreciated
via EFTS, OCLC IFM or check. Invoicing service is also availablefor libraries
and businesses.
Pre-payment is required via check or MasterCard/Visa for unaffiliated health
professionals.
REQUEST VIA: Requests may be submitted via Docline (CTUCON),OCLC (UCH),
Ariel (155.37.13.154), fax (860-679-4046), or ALA form.
LOANSOME DOC: For information on using the Health Center Library as
your designated Loansome
Doc library, contact the Interlibrary Loan Department, or see our
registration information and forms. We welcome international Loansome Doc
patrons.
