Quick Recovery (QR) Setup

QR is a system for Dental Students to schedule and track patient care in the Dental Clinics. The steps to download and install the program on your laptop are detailed below:

Go to the QR Page on the School of Dental Medicine website: Quick Recovery Support Center
On the left side menu, select Downloads.
If you are unsure if you have Java installed on your machine, or if you are unsure if you have the latest version, go to www.java.com
Download OCFPCSC1.dll to your Desktop. You will need to paste the OCFPCSC1.dll file into your Java Bin folder.
To paste the file in to the Java bin folder, go to My Computer and choose the C: Drive.
Click on Program Files.
Choose the Java Folder. Click to open it.
Find the bin folder. Copy and paste the OCFOCSC1.dll file into the bin folder.
Download the SMARTCARDS.jar file to your Desktop.
Choose the Java folder again following the steps above. In the Java folder look for the lib subfolder.
In the lib subfolder, find the ext subfolder. Click on the ext subfolder.
Copy and paste the SMARTCARDS.jar file into the ext subfolder.
To access QR, using Internet Explorer, click on http://qr.uchc.edu/jwalk/jwalk.html Save the QR url as a Favorite in Internet Explorer.
