Password Requirements
These are the Password Requirements established for user accounts on the UCHC Domain.
A UCHC Domain Account (E-mail) Password:
- Must be at least 6 characters long.
- Must contain characters from 3 of the 4 categories:
- English Uppercase letters (A-Z)
- English Lowercase Letters (a-z)
- Base 10 digits (0-9)
- Non-Alphabetic characters (For Example: !, $, #,%)
- Must be changed every 90 Days
- When changed, it cannot contain the user's account name
or parts of the user's full name that
exceed two consecutive characters. - Note: Accounts are locked out after 3 invalid login attempts.
- You will need to call the IT Help Desk at 860-679-4400 to have them reset your locked account.
