Pocket PC Palm Assistance

CEC Staff

CEC staff is available to assist with PDA related questions. This includes questions on recommended PDA models, purchasing a PDA, recommended PDA software, and other PDA related questions. CEC staff is also available to assist students and staff with using the library PDA sync stations as well as installing the recommended programs onto a PDA.

PDA Sync Stations

The CEC in the Library has PDA Syncing Stations that may be used by UCHC personnel for PDA syncing. These Sync Stations include quick links to the recommended PDA software downloads as well as PDA syncing software. Both Pocket PC and Palm syncing software is installed on these machines so users can sync either type of device. The Sync Station is available during all library hours and CEC Staff can assist in using the Sync Station. There are also help sheet binders available at the Sync Stations to assist users in downloading and installing the Recommended PDA applications.
Note: Please make sure that you bring your sync cable or cradle with you when you come to sync at our sync stations.

This section consists of information about other medical universities that have PDA web pages. This will give you an idea of the software that students at other medical universities are using. There is also a description included with each school to give you an idea of the content included the school's PDA web page.
