One Week Before E-Exam Checklist

1. Antivirus & Anti-Malware Scanning
   Note: Symantec Antivirus comes pre-installed on UCHC required student laptops. The other anti-malware software needs to be installed on your laptop.
   
   
   • Symantec Antivirus: Complete a full scan
   • Malwarebytes Anti-Malware: Complete a full scan
   • Spybot Search & Destroy: Complete a scan
   
   
   
2. Check Your LAN Port
   • Turn your wireless off
   • Plug your laptop into a network (home or at UCHC) using your Ethernet cable (provided with your laptop). Open Internet Explorer and ensure that you can view web pages. If you have a problem loading pages, please contact CEC staff.
   
   
   
3. Run Pre-Exam Sample Exams and Browser Checks (use Internet Explorer)
   • Browser Check, Virtual Microscope and Questionmark Sample Exams
   
   
   
4. Check Password Expiration Date
   If your password expires on or before an exam day change it immediately.
   • Check Password Expiration Date (you must be on the UCHC campus and use Internet Explorer to use this link)
   • Username & Password Information (includes password change information)
