Make sure your laptop is plugged
into the UCHC network.
Make sure your laptop is booted
and logged into Windows (not the
McAfee Endpoint Encryption logon screen
)
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del
Click the Change Password button
User name: Enter your user name
Log on to:
Class of 2012-2014 Students: Education
Staff: UCHC
Old Password: Enter your current password
New Password: Enter a new password
Confirm New Password: Re-enter new password
Click OK
You will see a password change confirmation
Right click McAfee Endpoint Encryption icon
Select Show status
Click the Synchronize button
McAfee Endpoint Encryption will
update your new password information
When McAfee Endpoint Encryption reads
"Applying cryption changes"
you can move on to the next step
Restart the laptop
Login to McAfee Endpoint Encryption
with your new password
