Encryption Login
When you first turn on your laptop you will be prompted to log in to McAfee Endpoint Encryption with your username and password. Please be aware that your McAfee Endpoint Encryption username and password is the same as your blackboard, domain (Windows), and email username and password. Anyone that is not an authorized UCHC McAfee Endpoint Encryption user will not be able to log in to your laptop.

Login Problems
Unknown User Name ErrorIf you receive an "Unknown user name" error message when logging into McAfee Endpoint Encryption it means that the encryption installation on your laptop does not contain your user name.

Authentication Parameters Incorrect Error
If you receive an "Authentication Parameters Incorrect" error message when logging into McAfee Endpoint Encryption it means the password you entered is incorrect. This can happen if you changed your domain password and forgot to sync McAfee Endpoint Encryption. This will cause the domain password and McAfee Endpoint Encryption password to be out of sync.

Windows Logon Error
If you log in to McAfee Endpoint Encryption but your computer boots up and does not automatically log in to Windows then your McAfee Endpoint Encryption and Windows passwords are out of sync.
