What To Backup
Below is a listing of common file storage locations you may want to consider when backing up files on your computer. Be aware that this list may include applications that you do not have installed on your computer. Please note that when you see <profile> that this refers to your user name on the computer. For example, if I log in to the computer with the user name "john doe" then when I want to locate files for my user profile I will replace <profile> with john doe.

		Backpack Files:	• C:\Documents and Settings\<profile>\Application Data\Blackboard\Backpack • C:\Documents and Settings\<profile>\My Documents\My Backpack Notes
		Cmap Files:	• Open Cmap • Under the Edit menu select Preferences • Make sure General is selected to find out where your Cmap files are being saved
		Desktop:	C:\Documents and Settings\<profile>\Desktop
		Firefox Bookmarks:	• Open Firefox • Click Bookmarks & Select Organize Bookmarks • Click Import and Backup • Click Backup • Save the backup file
		Chrome Bookmarks:	• Open Chrome • Click Customize and control Google Chrome • Select bookmark manager • Click Tools • Select Export bookmarks • Select location to backup bookmarks • Click Save • Click Export
		Intel PROSet Profiles:	• Open Intel PROSet Wireless • Click Profiles • Click Export • Select the profiles you want backed up • Click Export
		Internet Explorer:	C:\Documents and Settings\<profile>\Favorites
		OneNote:	• C:\Documents and Settings\<profile>\Local Settings\Application Data\ Microsoft\Onenote • C:\Documents and Settings\<profile>\My Documents\OneNote Notebooks • C:\Documents and Settings\<profile>\Application Data\Microsoft\OneNote
