Information
The 2009 UConn School of Medicine and School of Dental Medicine required student laptop is a Lenovo T400. This laptop is required by all incoming students and meets all of the strict specifications of the curricular software including the electronic testing. Students do not need to purchase this laptop separately. The laptop will be provided during school orientation, appear as a line item on your tuition bill, and is covered by financial aid. Finally, this laptop will come pre-installed with curricular software needed for your classes.

Support Information
The Computer Education Center (CEC) staff of the Library is available to assist students with curricular software and hardware laptop support. CEC staff can help to answer questions relating to software/hardware troubleshooting issues, software recommendations/installations and computer usage best practices. If you have any questions regarding the laptop requirements, you may contact CEC Staff Monday-Friday 7am-5pm.
