How to print PowerPoint slides as pure black and white
When printing a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation that contains backgrounds with color to a black and white printer it is best to remove these backgrounds before printing by printing the slides as "Pure Black and White." This will significantly reduce the number of printing issues you will run into such as extremely slow printing, jamming the printer, damaging printer components, and wasting toner. By changing a few options when printing the document you can easily avoid these issues. Examples of PowerPoint presentations printed using the various color settings are shown further down the page.
