Classrooms

The Computer Education Center has 3 teaching classrooms which can be reserved by UCHC students and staff for educational purposes. All three classrooms include a fixed projector which an instructor can use to display class content.

20 Computers (1 instructor, 19 student)

Classrooms 2 & 3 can be combined into one large classroom by opening the collapsible wall.

Reserving A Classroom

  1. Check the CEC classroom calendar to ensure the room you want is available.
  2. Fill out the classroom reservation form and send it to Nancy Mainelli (mainelli@uchc.edu) or Kebran Moss Solomon (mosssolomon@uchc.edu).
  3. Your reservation will be set once we confirm your booking.

Reservation Policy

All academic requests for CEC Classroom reservations will be given a higher priority over non-academic instructional needs. (In this case, academic refers to anything related to the SOM, SODM, Graduate, and Resident Programs; Non-academic relates to all other activity.) Academic programs will be allowed to reserve classroom space for one year in advance, or the full academic year. Non-academic groups may reserve classroom space for a maximum of 6 months in advance of their class date. Please note that during periods of high demand in the academic year, we may need to limit reservations to one classroom, or restrict the number of days allowed to be reserved. The classrooms can be reserved through the Library's CEC staff for educational and technological purposes. Classes may be held only during staffed library hours. Please complete a classroom request form (below) and email it Nancy Mainelli. You will then receive a confirmation back that the room has been reserved for you. Cancellation Policy

Please provide as much advanced notice as possible, if you are unable to use your room reservation. We ask that as a minimum we are notified one business day in advance, in the event of a cancellation. Please be aware that non-compliance with our cancellation policy may result in amended library reservation privileges for your group. It is our goal to make our limited classroom space available to as many patrons as possible, while adhering to the Library's mission.
