Windows Mobile - Email Setup


  1. Tap your Start Menu
  2. Tap Programs
  3. Tap Messaging
  1. Tap "New E-mail Account"
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Uncheck "Try to get e-mail
    settings automatically from the Internet"
  4. Tap Next
  1. Select "Internet e-mail"
  2. Tap Next
  3. Enter your name
  4. Enter School E-mail
  5. Tap Next
  1. Incoming Server:
    student.uchc.edu
  2. Account Type:
    IMAP4
  3. Tap Next
  4. Enter your email user name
  5. Enter your email password
  6. Check "Save password"
  7. Tap Next
  1. Outgoing Server:
    student.uchc.edu
  2. Check "Outgoing server
    requires authentication"
  3. Make sure "Use the same
    user name..." is not checked
  4. Tap Next
  5. Enter your email user name
  6. Enter your email password
  7. Tap Next
  1. Tap "Review all download settings"
  2. Select how often you want to check for
    new e-mail
  3. Select how much of your e-mail to
    download
  4. Tap Next
  1. Set the Advanced Settings
    the way you want them

    Note: Pay attention to the
    "When deleting messages settings"

  2. Tap Done
  3. Tap Next
  1. Message format: HTML
  2. Message download limit:
    All text, no pictures
  3. Download attachments:
    Do not download
  4. Tap Finish
