Note: You must have an iTunes account in order to install apps on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.

Go to:www.apple.com/itunes
Download iTunes on your computer, if you do not have it already.
You will see the iTunes Installer.exe file.
Select Next on the Welcome to iTunes screen.
Read and agree to the License Agreement. Click Next.
Check off any of the installable options needed and iTunes and Quick Time will install them. Click Install.
After iTunes has installed successfully, click Finish.
On your computer, open iTunes and Choose the iTunes Store on the left toolbar.
On the right side of the page, scroll down to the Free Apps area. Choose a free app and click on Get App.
A screen appears asking you to Create An Account or Sign In. Click Create An Account.
Click Continue after reading the information regarding your iTunes account.
Read the Terms and Conditions.
Click on the checkbox for " I have read and agree to Terms and Conditions". Click Continue.
Complete the Email, Password, Security Question, and Birthday Information.
Click Continue.
On the Provide Payment page, look to the far right on the Credit Card line. There should be a " None " option.
Choose None.
Complete the rest of the personal information.
Go to your Home Page of the iPod Touch. Select the App Store.
The App Store sign-in screen appears. Sign in with the account information that you just created.
