PDA FAQs
Do I need software to install programs onto my PDA?
Yes. Pocket PC users will need to install ActiveSync and Palm users will need to install Palm Desktop. These applications will
also allow you to sync email, appointments, files, etc. between your computer and PDA.
Can I install the recommended PDA programs from home?
Yes. You can access all of the PDA resources including all of the download and installation files through the Library's web
site. If a particular program is restricted to use by UCHC personnel you will be asked to input your Proxy number when visiting
one of these pages off site. If you do not have a Proxy number you may obtain one at the Circulation desk.
