Hours

The Computer Education Center (CEC) is located in the Lyman Maynard Stowe library of the UConn Health Center and is available to Health Center students and staff during Library hours. Staff support is available during most hours that the library is open.

Mission

The Computer Education Center (CEC) provides essential educational and technological support and resources to the student body of the UConn Health Center. Student support services include but not limited to: laptop, handheld, wireless, blackboard, educational software, curricular multimedia development, CEC equipment, etc. questions or problems. Students with technological and curricular related questions may talk to CEC staff for assistance. The CEC also has a computer lab with an open study area and three PC classrooms. The open study area has computers installed with curricular and medical related software for student use. Classrooms are equipped with overhead projectors and Smartboards available for teaching as well as student use when classes are not in session. The CEC also has handheld sync stations and multimedia development stations with scanning capabilities available for students to use.
